I only had 1 seed germinate out of 15ish seeds. Very disappointing when I’ve had great success with other varieties.

Aztec Sunset can sometimes be a bit more sensitive to cool soil temperatures and excess moisture than standard zinnias, even when grown under otherwise similar conditions. If planted during cooler weather or extended damp conditions, germination may be slower or lower, as zinnias generally prefer very warm soil temperatures, along with well-drained soil for best performance. In some cases, overly wet conditions can also cause seeds to rot before sprouting.
