Followed directions prior to planting. Only two seeds have germinated. and are growing.

While you may already be familiar with growing Butterfly Peas, we wanted to share a few tips that may be helpful just in case. Butterfly Pea seeds have a hard seed coat and generally germinate best when lightly scarified or soaked in warm water for 12–24 hours before planting. In Zone 6, they also perform best once the soil has fully warmed to at least 70°F. Planting too early, cooler spring temperatures, or inconsistent moisture during germination can all reduce success. Once established, however, Butterfly Peas are vigorous climbers that thrive in the heat of summer. We previously reached out with additional growing information and offered a resolution but have not yet heard back.
