Nothing in my CA native flower garden attracts so many different bees than this drought tolerant native. Bees cover these flowers from morning to sunset! I have them in a spot that receives all day hot sun where few other flowers grow and with very little water. Mine reached over 4 ft tall in no time before I had to cut them back. They bloom non-stop and the flowers are a lovely bluish purple color. No other flower has been so easy to grow with low water and the bees have never been happier!
