I started this variety indoors from seed and had 100% germination! They grew so fast! They were a little fussy when I transplanted in the spring but they bounced back and almost all bloomed this summer. The only ones that didn’t were the ones that were in a little shade from a potted plant. The colors are so varied and uniquely beautiful!
I tried cold stratification in the fridge like I was taught in the past. These seedling did not germinate. I put them in as soon as I received them which was in March. The holly hock did but not yarrow.

Yarrow can be a bit particular to germinate and often does best when surface sown or only very lightly covered, as light helps trigger germination. Consistent moisture (not soggy soil) and moderate temperatures around 65–70°F tend to improve success, and while cold stratification can help, steady warmth and light after sowing are often just as important. I bought and sowed this seed about 4 years ago. I got only white plants. I’m sad to see that the very recent review above had the same experience and it is still being sold as colored. I would love to try the Colorado mix but will not because of my experience and the recent review
You will only get white yarrow from this mix. I have plenty of white yarrow and wanted some pretty colors added in my garden. Now I have more white yarrow. Thanks? Eden Brothers seeds have only ever been a disappointment. Do NOT buy from them.
