    Overall rating: 3.5 / 5 from 4 reviews.

I recently planted Verbena Seeds: Compacta Mix, and I was pleased to see that they germinated well. The shipping was also very quick, and the plants are thriving. However, I have noticed that they seem to be susceptible to powdery mildew. Since I live in a high-humidity area, I would suggest that anyone in similar conditions consider choosing a different variety.

    Verbena Seeds - Compacta Mix

I haven’t planted all the seeds yet but so far every one of the 12 seeds I planted in seedling pots have sprouted. This is the first time I’ve planted seeds but they’re pretty easy to care for. BEWARE: the packet said “direct sow” but I literally saw a flock of birds picking the seeds right out of the dirt and the one survivor got dug up by a cat. Apparently wildlife hates me

    Verbena Seeds - Compacta Mix

Verbena isn't usually that hard to grow from a seedling or small plant but the seeds have not produced at all. Planted multiple times, this year and last and THINK there may be ONE that germinated ( still watching to make sure it is verbena since its in a basket with some other seedlings. This is disappointing for sure. Would have expected at least a dozen plants from two seasons.

Average seed count in a packet says 115. There were 40. I started them today - hoping for 100% germination!
