I bought these bulbs in October 2023 and planted them in to containers in January 2024. I used the run-of-the-mill potting mix you can find in big box stores. Once planted, I placed the containers in my shed over the winter. I checked the containers in March 2024 and found that the leaves and buds had started to emerge. I moved the containers from the shed to outside, in a sunny location. They grew quickly - starting with the yellow flowers! By mid-April, all the flowers have bloomed - yellow, white, and purple (purple bloomed last). It’s a great mix! I’ve gotten a lot of compliments from my neighbors! The colors work well together and bring cheer to the garden!

Only two bloomed out of 10 bulbs. The two that bloomed were gorgeous, just wish this worked out better as we spent a lot of planning, time, planting and money for the spring. We will keep trying, but this was deflating.

Store owner replied: Hello T. Mooney. Thank you for your review of Eden Brothers! We truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Feedback like yours is invaluable, as it helps us continually improve our products and planting instructions. Many times if you have had a milder winter, and or planted later in the winter season, the tulips need more exposure to the cold to produce blooms. We do understand your disappointment and after checking in with our Customer Service Team, it looks like we were able to assist you further. Thanks again for taking the time to share your thoughts with us!
These tulips bloomed but many more white tulips than pink, and no yellow . I was looking for a burst of colors but that’s not what showed up.

These look so beautiful in the ad! And, the couple that came up are pretty. But, I planted dozens of bulbs (purchased 3 different mixes from EB) in various gardens around my home, and 10 came up, w 8 blooms. The few that came up are very short stemmed, but pretty. However, a lot of planning, money and effort for very little reward.

I purchased a variety of bulbs last fall from Eden brothers (90 total) none of these tulips came up. I’m so disappointed.

I bought 50 of this goldfinch mix and 50 of the black tie mix and it appears 1 out of the 100 bulbs has sprouted. I was very excited to these this spring, and now I have no tulips. This is my second disappointment from Eden Brothers. The photographs on this website are beautiful, but I have yet to receive anything that resembles what was promised. I’ll be buying elsewhere from now on.
