    Although I'm a seasoned gardener, I haven't been able to get calendula to bloom for the past 4 years. Until now! FINALLY these sunset buff seeds have given us beautiful edible flowers. Really enjoying them!

    These flowers are as beautiful as the pictures here, if not more so! Easy to direct sow with great germination, and one of the quicker flowers to grow and bloom, they did fine in the slightly shadier and the sunnier areas. They bloom profusely, and they look their best if regularly deadheaded since the seed heads are a bit gnarly looking if left to their own devices (though they do self seed super easily if left alone, even within the same year). The only downside (at least for my garden this year) is the foliage all suffered from some unsightly leaf mottling likely caused by insects during the heat of summer and stopped blooming for a bit until it cooled down again. After that they mostly recovered and bloomed prettier than ever despite the leaf damage. Overall, I love these and will keep growing them!

    Calendula Seeds - Sunset Buff

    These were very easy to grow, but the color was milder than I imagined. They had a pink tinge on the first set of blooms, but subsequent blooms appear more traditionally yellow.
