We are glad to see that this bloomed beautifully, although we understand your concern with the shorter height and smaller, proportionate flower head. ProCut varieties are bred primarily as single-stem cut flowers, so their heads are naturally more moderate in size than giant-type sunflowers, but plant height can also vary with growing conditions. Crowding or close spacing intentionally produces thinner stems and smaller blooms for cutting, while insufficient sunlight, inconsistent moisture, compacted or lower-fertility soil, and periods of excessive heat or drought can all limit height and flower size. For taller plants and larger blooms, providing full sun, consistent moisture, adequate fertility, and a little more room between plants can help.
