I grow a lot of Eden Bros. Zinnias and cosmos, and this year was beautiful as usual. However I noticed I had a lot more mutation issues with some of the flowers where the leaves fused to the stalks and there were some where the bud was fused over with leaf and stalk material. It was odd. It also happened with some of my other new seeds. The ones that bloomed without issue were beautiful. This also occurred with another variety.
These flowers were not really salmon, but rather just a medium pink color. The blossoms were smaller than the typical zinnia, but the plants grew to about 4 feet tall, not the 24 inches described.
