I have not gotten a chance to plant the bulbs. When I got them it became really cold and then it snowed. I will be planting them soon.

Store owner replied: Hello Nancy H. Thank you for your kind review. We all know that life (and winter weather) gets in the way from our ability to plant sometimes. We understand that these were a surprise for you as well. For best results we advise planting them in the ground, or in pots as soon as you can. You might still have some cold weather that will help them, and it's best to allow the roots and foliage to have a chance to grow and store energy this year. They are a variety that doesn't need as much cold stratification as some of the other fall planted bulbs. Even if you don't get blooms this year you want that energy to store up for the years following. We are still hopeful that these little beauties will bloom this year if you get them planted, and we hope you enjoy them!

I purchased Allium Bulbs (Small) - Roseum from Eden Brothers in 2024 and planted them in Fall 2024 and they never came up and therefore I never had any blooms from these at all this year. Very disappointing, as I followed all the instructions for planing and we are in zone 6.

I received these last fall in an order along with the graceful mix alliums and Schubertii alliums. While the other came up these spring and bloomed beautifully, the Roseums never bloomed (although some tiny greenery appeared). Maybe next year?

Had the same issue with allium Mount Blanc…plants arrived in fall and were planted per the instructions but the bulbs bloomed shortly thereafter and green top growth was exposed all winter. Unlike the Mount Blanc bulbs, there is some new growth happening but not sure they will flower this year.
