    These seeds produced large deep red blooms that I used as cut filler for autumn arrangements. I planted these in raised beds, and since these plants are so large with thick stems, I will plant in the ground next time. For my limited bed space, these took up too much real estate for me. Lots of compliments from neighbors on the unusual look of these.

    Amaranthus Seeds - Red Garnet

    It took awhile for the small plants to grow, and they were not fully ripe by the time frost came, although I planted early. It took a LONG time to harvest the seeds and the yield was small. But cooking the 1 bowl of grain I got from 10 plants (cooked like Cream of Wheat) was very tasty, and the plants were beautiful in the garden.
