Ranunculus, with its ruffly petals and naturally arched stems, are a bride's favorite. They resemble peonies but are somewhat smaller than roses. These flowers have spherical blossoms with soft, delicate petals that burst open from their blooms. The lavish and enchanting colors of Eden Brothers' Violet Ranunculus Bulbs can't be beat! To create a striking contrast in your garden, combine violet ranunculus with orange or yellow varieties. Violet is said to be the color of royalty, and this could be your year to feel like the King or Queen you are!

Note: In Zones 8–10, ranunculus are grown as perennials—plant in fall for spring blooms. In Zones 4–7, they are treated as cool-season annuals. Start corms indoors in late winter and transplant after nights stay above 30°F, or dry-store them and plant in spring after hard frosts.

Customer photo review of Ranunculus Bulbs - Violet

I only had two or 3 of these grow, and 2 blooms total, both of which were extremely scrawny and nothing like the flowers pictured. I picked one and put it in a vase anyway, because it was all I had, but it was kind of just sad. Also a very light purple, and nothing like shown in the product listing.
