    These germinated very quickly and they so far they are lovely deep purple. They are very strong and one package of seeds fills a very large ground pot quickly. When they are all bloomed out they should be very pretty. I may order these again for deck rail pots and ground containers.

    Petunia Seeds - Alderman Blue

    This petunia is a very tough plant. I mass planted in a flat. They all came up. I wasn't able to plant them as soon as I would have liked. Because there were so many I had to get creative. The last couple of pots that I planted looked pretty tough for all of maybe a week and then they really took off. I have cut back and then they come back. They have a heavenly scent that you dream of all winter long. The only 1 thing that I don't like about these are that they like to reach for the sky and not trail. They get long legged and it flowers at the top. They might need a bit of support in heavy wind or rain. That being said the ones that I have in my hanging basket were planted heavy and I haven't had any problem with them as of yet. I think that the chains help a bit also. Also you get a zillion seeds in the packet. Most of the seeds were true to the color. I did have about a quarter of them that were shades of purple and 1 that was a darling light purple blue.
