I have tried the pansy seeds twice and have fail to get anything both times. I am an experimental gardener but my wife is an expert and she has told e both times that pansies don't well in hot environs, which means trying to grow these pansies in my greenhouse is likely the wrong choice. I am going to try a third time but I am going to do it in the house in a cooler contoled environment.

Pansies are cool-season flowers, and their seeds generally germinate best around 60–65°F, so excessive greenhouse warmth can make germination more difficult. For future growers, sowing about 1/8 inch deep, keeping the medium consistently moist but not saturated, and providing darkness during germination can help; emergence may take approximately 1–3 weeks. Once seedlings appear, bright light and continued cool conditions encourage sturdy growth.
