I purchased lisiantgus seeds. They were hard to germinate but I was successful. My question is they are about 1/4 inch now. But they won't grow. Should I fertilize them with 1/2 recommended miracle grow.

Very low germination. And the ones that did are barely surviving/growing.

I have grown thousands, and I am not exaggerating, thousands of flowers from seed. Hundreds each year. This will not germinate to save my life.

The packet is nothing but dust. Not one in tact seed. Have contacted customer service, will see if they respond appropriately and correct this issue.

Small scale lisianthus growers often purposefully crush packets of pelleted lisi seeds and then sprinkle that dust over the top of the soil. Once the plants germinate and grow to the appropriate size, they separate them into individual cells/pots. The mail service has just saved you that crush step. Your seeds are there; they’re just spec of dust like in appearance, which is why they’re pelletized in the first place. If you don’t get the clay coating wet enough to dissolve it, your lisis will not sprout, which is why small scale and home growers often purposely smash them prior to planting for faster germination with higher germination rates.

This packet of seeds came as a packet of dust. I didn't even have one seed that I could plant. This is my first purchase with this company and I'm just not impressed at all.

I bought 2 packets of this and zinnias from this company in August 2023. Opened packets in early 2024 for planting the lisianthus and found nothing but dust. They were stored in a clean dry environment in packet. All other seeds from other companies are fine. Then, I tried to request re send or refund packets and received no support from the company. Poor customer service. Poor packaging. Don’t waste your money.

I have ordered pelleted seeds from other companies in the past and it comes in a vial or small plastic container. These seeds were in your standard seed packet and were literally a packet of yellow dust. Very frustrating. They were expensive for a bag of dust.
