    I compare what your website calls "jumbo size" elephant ear bulbs with what I bought at a local nursery last year. These bulbs are less than 1/2 the size of what I purchased are were more expensive. What a ripoff!! These bulbs will take at least a year to live up to its name of jumbo size. Don't buy them. Look elsewhere!

Bulb and tuber sizing can vary somewhat between growers and suppliers, and “jumbo” sizing is typically based on that specific variety’s grading standards rather than a universal industry size. Elephant ears can also vary significantly in mature growth depending on the variety, growing conditions, heat, moisture, and length of the growing season. While smaller bulbs may still establish and grow well, we certainly understand your disappointment if the bulbs appeared much smaller than anticipated. We previously reached out and offered a resolution, but we have not yet heard back from you.     My giant elephant ear bulb planted 8 weeks ago has not sprouted or shown any growth yet other elephant ear bulbs purchased at Walmart are about 8 inches tall. What should I expect?

Elephant ears can be slow to sprout, particularly if soil temperatures are not consistently warm. Deeper planting or cooler nights can delay emergence. Even at 8 weeks, it’s still possible for them to sprout as temperatures continue to rise. We’re glad we were able to provide a resolution, and we’re always here to help support your success!

    Just received the balance of my order for this Majestic Plant. The bulbs are HUGE and Healthy looking. Eden Bros had to back order this for me because of supplier/NE Weather disruptions. But, once they received them they sent them to me for Sunday Delivery. Impressive! All along the staff kept me informed me of the shipping changes so I knew I would receive them when available. Very Professional. I already have another order in place and have a Cart for my Fall Plantings. Very Professional Company and Customer Supportive!
