This is my second mix that’s been off. Sounds like I was luckier than others in that my bulbs did mostly sprout. Out of 20, 14 came up. However, most of them were white, I got 4 yellow, 9 white and one red? No idea where the red came from, as it’s not supposed to be in this mix. Maybe the 6 that didn’t come up were the orange or purple ones (maybe not as healthy of bulbs?) but super bummed this wasn’t the color combo as advertised.

Hello Erica. Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re glad to hear that many of the bulbs sprouted, though we’re sorry the color mix did not match expectations. We understand how disappointing that can be when you’re planning for a specific palette. After looking into this further with our growers, we were able to get to the bottom of the issue and have taken steps to address it moving forward. We’re glad we were able to provide a resolution and appreciate your understanding. Please don’t hesitate to reach out, as we stand by our products and are always happy to assist!
The entire bag of Freesia bulbs planted did not come in at all, I planted them in March/April and completely dissolved and did not germinate.
Store owner replied:
Hello Lauren. Thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear that your freesia corms did not grow. In Zone 9, freesias generally perform best when planted in the fall, allowing them to grow through the cooler months and bloom in late winter to early spring. Spring planting can be challenging, as warming soil temperatures may cause the corms to remain dormant or decline before they have a chance to establish. Freesias also prefer well-drained soil and consistent moisture during active growth, but overly wet conditions can lead to the corms deteriorating. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to address your concerns and provide a resolution. We appreciate your feedback and hope you'll enjoy greater success with future plantings!

I was really looking forward to these and nothing came up sadly. Not a single one. A $20 bag of disappointment.

Hello Anush. Thank you for your feedback for us at Eden Brothers! We are truly sorry to hear about your experience with these beauties! We understand how disappointing it can be when a planting project doesn't meet expectations. Please know that Freesia bulbs take a while to get going. 2 to 4 weeks under ideal conditions and sometimes up to 6 weeks, if it's cool or if soil conditions slow things down. We value your support and hope you have a beautiful growing season!
I love most of the products I get from this store but unfortunately, none of my freesia bulbs came up, which is sad because I was really looking forward to these!

I wish I could say how beautiful these were but nothing grew. Out of all of them, I got a couple of green leaves and that's it. I love Freesia and really wanted to see these bloom.

Wanted these to grow so badly! Unfortunately. I did not have one flower come up. Planted them the same time as other bulbs and had success with those, but these all just shriveled up. Debating if I want to try again next year or not bc they are so pretty.

I love freesia, and thought I would give drowning them a try. As I live in NW Florida, I didn't hold up much hope of them coming up, but I was proved wrong. Out of the 20 bulbs, only 1 did not show, and that's a ratio I can live with. I'll definitely be buying more of these fall planted bulbs, now my 'guinea pigs' have proved so successful. I'm still waiting for them to bloom, but I know they'll be gorgeous.
