I have never grown flowers before this year—normally I’m a vegetable gal. I bought these on a whim and planted them in pots in mid May. This is after just over two week. Both tubers have sprouted with multiple eyes. I’m so excited to see the blooms! I appreciate the detailed instructions Eden brothers gives regarding planting and care. They also have great customer service. So far I am very happy with my purchase.
I planted many dahlia bulbs, zinnias seeds, and cosmos seeds from Eden Brothers for my son’s August wedding. All but one bulb came up and I was amazed, in a fairly small footprint of soil, at how many blooms we had for the wedding! These golf-ball sized white (with a wisp of pink as the bloom matures) compact blossoms were the favorite of the bride’s and her bridal party. They add such a great texture and size to the bouquets and arrangements. Wonderful, straight and strong stems too!
I love these. They are gorgeous and form the perfect small little pompom balls. They didn't bloom nearly as much as my other dahlias. The only problem I had is that I wanted more 🤣
Unfortunately I bought two bulbs and they didn’t come up at all, wondering if there was a problem with the bulbs! What a bummer. Not a planting issues as the rest of my bulbs grew and are doing well.

These little pompon are great in any bouquet. I always buy enough to have for everything. Great.
The dahlia bulb dissolved completely and didn't come up (and was only planted in April). The shipment also came 2-3 weeks late as well. These are not cheap bulbs and I was highly disappointed. The bulbs I bought at Home Depot did better than these honestly.

Dahlias grow best when planted in warm, well-drained soil after the danger of frost has passed. If the soil remains cool or stays overly wet for an extended period, tubers can soften or rot before they have a chance to sprout. Planting them once soil temperatures have warmed and avoiding excess moisture during establishment can help encourage healthy growth. I planted them 4+ weeks ago and I have not seen anything break through the ground yet.

My blooms did not have the expected solid, sturdy ball form like pictured and like in some of the other satisfied reviewers. The blooms were also bigger than expected, and they seemed more like an informal decorative form. The blooms were also more of a stark white rather than the creamy coloring I was hoping for.

I purchased a wide variety of dahlias this year…this is one of only three that bloomed. Bright light among a lot of disappointments. Profuse enough that I could make cup bouquets to take into coworkers three or four time a week.

All tubers sprouted and plants look healthy can't wait for them to bloom.
I had reservations about this dahlia because I thought it might be too small to use in arrangements but boy was I wrong. This mixes with any flowers, produces a ton of the ponpom heads and is just a pleasure to look at . My favorite for 2022!!
