    This dahlia mix worked well alongside several of the white varieties I chose this year. Growing flowers for the table requires smaller blooms, this mix did the trick. Worked well in a large raised bed, planted on Earth Day 4/22/23. Planning to do it again in ‘24.

    Just wanted to share some praise for these lovely dahlias. I have been growing Eden Brothers dahlias for several years. Some years I start them in pots inside, and sometimes I put them straight in the ground. 90% or more of the tubers bloom (and the other 10% is probably gardner error!), and they always produce healthy plants and flowers. This mix is beautiful. The photo attached is the Pink Mix with a couple other colors added in. You’ll do well with any tuber or mix you choose…thanks Eden Brothers!

    Dahlia Tubers (Ball & Decorative) - Pink Mix

    I ordered a wide variety of dahlia tubers this season, but unfortunately, the majority of them failed to produce. Only a few sprouted and bloomed, which was disappointing given the investment and effort put into planting them. I followed standard planting and care practices, but most of the tubers simply never took off. I hope Eden Brothers can look into tuber quality or consistency, as I was really looking forward to a full, colorful garden this year.

    These tubers produced beautiful plants and beautiful flowers. I am giving four stars because it is frustrating to get a mix without the individual tubers labeled. It’s not possible to choose where to plant them when you don’t know which variety is which. I ended up with the taller plants shading the shorter plants

    Dahlia Tubers (Ball & Decorative) - Pink Mix

    Probably the most successful of the $200 worth of dahlias purchased. The Thomas Edison looks AMAZING but lots of foliage and only two flowers. No other type shown in the description photos of this mix produced flowers but there is a strange light to mid pink dahlia that I suspect was part of this mix as a substitute perhaps? That one is the ONLY dahlia that produced as expected (funny since it’s not one I thought I ordered). Beautiful foliage and abundant flowers, enough to take them into work to share.

We’re glad to hear you had success with the Thomas Edison and the lighter pink variety, though we’re sorry to learn that many of the others produced foliage without blooms. Dahlias can sometimes put more energy into leaf growth, especially in their first season, but we understand the disappointment when the display doesn’t match expectations. Hopefully that bloom booster fertilizer will help the rest bloom before frost. We will be speaking with our growers about the incorrect variety, and appreciate you letting us know!     Just as pictured. I get so many big blooms from each plant even in our cooler San Francisco climate. This is their second year and they are looking just as healthy as the first!

    This mix had some beautiful and large tubers and others were small. 3 of the 5 tubers germinated. Which is a bit of a let down when ordering from a company like eden brothers. The ones that germinated are strong healthy plants and the 2 that did not make it were planted in the same area, same soil, same watering routine therefore disappointed in the 2 small tubers that were provided that did not germinate.
