    I planted these seeds ~Mar 20, they started blooming ~June 19 - so 3 months. Very pretty. Mix of colors. A couple of different blues, lavender, pink, white. To my surprise, close to 5' tall in the places I had fully new soil this year. Closer to 3' in another bed where I tucked them in without fully digging in new potting soil/compost. Very pretty. A nice addition. Pic is a two plants in a 20" pot (some shorter plants below) - a few flowers open & lots more buds.

    I ordered numerous seed packages from here and they all came up great except the bachelor buttons. I was really looking forward to them too because I remember them from my childhood. I am new to seed planting though so I will probably try again next year from here because everything else is great.

Bachelor's Buttons are cool-season annuals that often perform best when sown in late fall or very early spring. In many climates, fall planting allows the seeds to naturally overwinter and produce vigorous plants and abundant blooms the following spring.
