    Customer Reviews

    Overall rating: 2.7 / 5 from 3 reviews.

I'm sorry to say but my experience is these seeds are mislabeled. When I first tried a two seasons ago, I got good plants but not with the trademark centers of true Sterntaler. I am trying again but latest round was less successful and I won't know about blooms until next spring. From talking to a grower, from whom I have bought Sterntaler plants, I think your packaging is misleading.

Store owner replied: Hello David R. Thank you for sharing your experience with this variety, and we are sorry that you didn't get the expected centers on these. Some environmental conditions can influence that pigment expression. We have reported this to our quality control team to investigate further and we understand the disappointment. We have reached out to offer a resolution on your orders, but have not heard back yet. Please respond to our original email, and we'd be happy to take care of this for you. We stand by our products and want our customers to receive the expected blooms they ordered!

I have been purchasing seeds from Eden Brothers for years and I have had great succes with the germination of their seeds and the growth of healthy plants.

    Coreopsis Seeds - Sterntaler

I ordered an ounce of this seed two years ago for a new meadow garden. Excellent germination and afew seedlings bloomed the first year, but all yellow. I thought I might have better results when the rest bloomed, but this year not a single seedling was ‘Sterntaler.’ Every single one was the all-yellow species type, and moreover tall and floppy and not at all compact.
