    I used to grow flower seed mixes a lot; one of the varieties they had was a dwarf, 12 inch calendula, very similar to this one. Being in a flower seed mix, the exact variety is unknown. I lived in Glendale AZ, right next to Phoenix AZ. One June day, it went up to 122 deg, with some windiness. It would appear that u can almost get sort of a heat frost at those temps. My calendulas survived, (the 12 inch ones), but they succombed soon after. Still, that's an amazing degree of heat resistance, in a similar variety!
