No luck with these beet seeds.

Beet seeds can struggle when planted during the middle of summer in Arizona. During Arizona summers, high soil temperatures can reduce or delay germination, and the soil surface can dry out very quickly. For better results, beets are generally better planted during Arizona’s cooler growing seasons, When sowing, plant about ½ inch deep, keeping the seedbed consistently moist but not waterlogged during germination, and avoid allowing the soil surface to completely dry out. A light mulch after seedlings are established can help moderate soil temperature and retain moisture. We would recommend direct sowing for optimal results as well.
