    I am so bummed with this crop. I ordered 1/4 pound of beans thinking I would get a big harvest to can for the season. To my dismay, about 75% of these were POLE BEANS.....and they are sprawling all over my other crops, taking down flowers, etc. The few that are bush beans are breaking off full stems at a time (mind you full of newly forming bean pods) with the slightest manipulation of the plant to find the beans or ripping off when I try to harvest a bean. I'm wondering maybe if these got mixed up somehow and maybe got mislabeled or were a poor variety. I'm just super bummed because I don't think I'll have nearly the harvest I've had in the past and I don't love pole beans bc they are stringy.

    These plants are fabulous. I just had the first picking of these abundant beans yesterday. They are beautiful!!! There are many flowers on the plants with the promise of many more beans to harvest in our little garden. I am so excited.

    I have planted Blue Lake beans for years. I have bought these beans twice from Eden Brothers. I planted and they are not bush the run so I have to trellis them. Which is a nuisance. I want the old Blue Lake beans.
