I ended up getting 10 blooms from one bulb! I planted it mid-November and it is still producing blooms as of today, 1/19/26. Very, very beautiful and easy to maintain!

I was worried my bulbs (3) would not bloom in time bc I didn't get them to the pots right away. One opened all the way during the night of Christmas Eve and at 2 am I was so excited! Really beautiful!

Exotic Star is just that, Exotic & Unique! The light green back drop petal color with it's unique light red striping makes this bloom a beauty. But what I love was the long light pink stamens in different length that has a beautiful sheen when light shines upon it. It amazes me how beautiful the genetic colors created such a beautiful and unique bloom.

One of my absolute favorites! Blooms beautifully, and I Sommer it on the patio and bring it in in September to prepare it for the following years bloom!

Based on the photos and the listing at the time, I thought I was getting papilio amaryllis. It looks like the listing name was charged to exotic star at some point, but the website path still shows up as https://www.edenbrothers.com/products/amaryllis-bulbs-papilio and the photos are clearly papilio. I got exotic star. Still very pretty, but not what I was looking for, and also something that is widely available at a lower price. This has been a repeated issue with this company - about half my dahlias have been mislabed, meaning I got screaming red flowers that were supposed to be light peach, and bright magenta ones that were supposed to be white. The plants have been healthy, but big bulbs and tubers are too expensive and take too much waiting to get a wildcard. Will avoid ordering from this website in the future.

I am very happy with these bulbs/flowers and would highly recommend them. They have been easy to care for and started growing shortly after planting. I ordered 2 bulbs, each is huge, and came in good condition. After ~8 weeks or so, each bulb has a pair of blooms from a single stalk plus two more flower stalks that have yet to open (thus expecting at least 6 blooms from each). The blooms have been long-lasting, are very large and very beautiful. Compared to the photo on the site, mine have more red and less white-imagine the red color extending to the edge of the petals, but still with white in between. Absolutely lovely!
