The majestic and stunning Giganteum allium is perhaps the tallest available allium on the market, with blooms the size of a softball, it grows up to 5 feet tall. Giganteum is a fall planted flower bulb that blooms from late spring into early summer. Like all alliums, Giganteum is best planted in clumps of 10 or more bulbs to create a stunning and unusual effect in the late spring garden. Giganteum alliums should be planted in a sheltered location to protect the blooms from strong winds. Giganteum allium is excellent for either cut flower or dried flower arrangements.

    I am loving my Giant Alliums, some of them didn't do well, either didn't come up at all 10%, or came up but didn't grow a flower 30%, but the other 60% are BEAUTIFUL. Thinking about getting more to plant in fall, I wished they were less expensive 🫰, and more reliable but they look great.

    I have purchased from Eden Brothers for years. The allium bulbs are large and healthy, the best I've ever received from mail order. Every spring when the alliums come up I see they have increased, that's exciting. The stalks are sturdy and the blooms are beautiful, bees love them. When they are done blooming, my husband spray paints the heads a purple color so we still have beauty well into July. Don't be afraid to purchase your Allium bulbs from Eden Brothers, you won't be disappointed!
