    Foxgloves are a Biennial, Which means they will bloom every OTHER year, not every year. So when you plant them, they will flower the 2nd, 4th, 6th years, etc. I love them they are beautiful and prolific, thought not advised for those with pets. They appear to flower every year after the 2nd year due to reseeding themselves everywhere So when purchasing plants, learn the terms: Annual, Perennial, Biennial. etc....

    Foxglove Seeds - Alba

    I was quite nervous about sowing these seeds. I didn't realize that they would be so small and require 2 seasons to bloom. I started them inside in sterile seed mix and grow lights. Once sprouted, I thinned them out and after frost I transplanted them outside. They are doing great although only about 10" tall by fall. I am hoping they will return next spring and bloom for me. Like all seed packets I received from Eden Bros., I wish they printed specific planting info on the packet. Such as, sun requirements, plant height, and how deep to sow, as I had to refer to the website before planting.
