Fall-planted bulbs and perennials are so easy to grow—they’re the perfect project for beginning gardeners. When you order bulbs and perennials through Eden Brothers, we wait to ship your bulbs to you until the ideal planting window in your area, several weeks before the last average frost date.

Once your bulbs and perennials arrive in the mail, they’re ready to plant. If you haven’t already, choose a planting site that drains well and receives at least four hours of sunlight a day. Plant individual bulbs in holes two or three times the height of the bulb, or dig a trench about eight inches deep and tuck multiple bulbs tightly together, resembling eggs in a carton.
